Deserts to see scorching temperatures Wednesday as warming trend continues in SoCal

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California will see another warm day Wednesday as temperatures continue to rise heading into the weekend.

Los Angeles and Orange counties Wednesday will see morning clouds and afternoon sunshine, along with a high of 81 and a low of 61. Similar conditions are expected Thursday.

The valleys and Inland Empire Wednesday will experience a high of 90 degrees after morning clouds dissipate.

Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine at the beaches. Look for a high temperature of 72 degrees and a low of 60.

The mountains will have a high of 81 degrees amid sunny skies Wednesday. The low temperature will drop to 49.



In most of the desert areas Wednesday, the high temperature will soar to 100 degrees while the low will be 66. Palm Springs will see a high of 109 degrees.
