DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man reportedly armed with a machete attacked two men in Downtown Los Angeles overnight, killing one of them, according to police.
It happened just after midnight at two separate locations.
Los Angeles police said they got a call about a stabbing victim at Grand Avenue and Eleventh Street.
They said the victim, a man in his 60s, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The second victim, a man in his 30s, was found at Broadway and Olympic. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition, according to LAPD.
The shirtless suspect was located nearby at 15th Street and Broadway -- with what appeared to be the weapon -- and was taken into custody, according to police.
So far, police have not released any details on the possible motive.
