Rob McMillan
Rob McMillan is the Eyewitness News Inland Empire bureau chief. He joined ABC7 in 2007.

Rob's assignment was a homecoming for him: He grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, graduated from Alta Loma High School and earned his broadcast journalism degree from the University of Southern California.

Rob's first on-air job was at KRCR, where he worked as a bureau reporter in Chico, CA. After that, Rob spent three years in the much cooler climate of Spokane, WA as a reporter for KAYU.

From there, Rob returned to the warmer temperatures of California when he became a reporter in Palm Springs covering the Coachella Valley, just east of the Inland Empire.

Rob's next stop was in Las Vegas, NV at KVBC before returning to Southern California to work in his hometown for ABC7.

Rob has been covering stories in Riverside County and San Bernardino County for almost 20 years. Some of the biggest stories he has reported on include the San Bernardino mass shooting, the Turpin family's "House of Horrors" and the coronavirus pandemic's impact throughout the Inland Empire. He loves connecting with viewers and and covering the stories meaningful to the people of the Inland Empire.
